The SDM530-CT measures and displays the characteristics of three phase four wires (3p4w) supplies, including voltage, frequency, current, power, active and reactive energy, imported or exported. Energy is measured in terms of kWh, kVArh. Maximum demand current can be measured over preset periods of up to 60 minutes. In order to measure energy, the unit requires voltage and current inputs in addition to the supply required to power the product.

Device preparation

Connect the smart meter to power and Modbus RTU. For detailed explanation for initial wiring, follow the instructional manual. Make sure the correct RTU settings are set (select correct COM port in the RTU settings).

Example provides feedback on active, reactive and apparent power for all three phases. Each feedback value is stored in separate folder with SUM values available as well. Custom visualisation panel provides all major feedback in one panel. Additional modbus addresses can be added if required.
